Merino and cashmere are blended together, creating extremely fine fibers which make this combination ultra soft like Irish butter. The finest merino wool blended with pure cashmere gives you a luxury weave that makes an heirloom quality blanket that is perfect for any season. Merino wool comes from Merino sheep, producing fine, soft fibers, and it takes twice as much wool compared to others, making it a wee bit more expensive, but the extra cost is worth the super softness.
